Our site has been designed to provide information for people who want general information about hypnosis or for healthcare professionals who might be interested in joining us. 

But first…. who are we and why did we form?

• The Canadian Federation of Clinical Hypnosis/Fédération canadienne d'hypnose clinique is made up of licensed health care professionals trained in the appropriate and ethical use of hypnosis.
• We publish a peer-reviewed Journal that promotes the effective and ethical use of hypnosis, and fosters research on the clinical applications of hypnosis in Canada.
• We provide members with a bulletin board service and other means to build a strong community of health care professionals interested in hypnosis.
• Our website provides information about hypnosis to the general public and is a valuable source of valid information about a topic steeped in mystery and misunderstanding.
• We advertise workshops and other events that we think will be of interest to health care professionals.
• We provide a means of referral that allows site visitors find our local members.
• Federation has adopted principles and plans to implement those to allow French-speaking Canadians access to information about hypnosis.
