Eligibility
- Full membership in CFCH-NS is open to health care professionals, who have a doctoral or master's degree in one of the following professions: medicine, dentistry, psychology, chiropractic, social work or nursing, are members in good standing with their respective regulatory colleges, and who have completed an approved introductory hypnosis workshop.
- Student membership is open to graduate students in one of these programs.
- Associate membership is open to health care professionals, who have a doctoral or master's degree in one of the following professions: medicine, dentistry, psychology, chiropractic, social work or nursing, and are members in good standing with their respective regulatory colleges, but who not yet completed their introductory hypnosis training.
- Affiliate membership is available to other regulated health care professionals who hold a bachelor's degree.
Training Requirement
A further requirement of Society membership is the completion of an introductory workshop approved by our Society, any other member Society of the Federation, or the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH).
Note: Applicants with appropriate academic credentials are admitted as Associate members until completion of their Introductory training. Similarly, applicants who are considered provisional in their registration status by their professional college are admitted as Affiliate members pending full registration with their college.
Dues
Annual dues are $125 for full or associate membership, $75 for affiliate membership, and $25 for student membership.
ALL FULL MEMBERS OF CFCH-NS AUTOMATICALLY BECOME MEMBERS OF THE CANADIAN FEDERATION OF CLINICAL HYPNOSIS.
Please note that our membership year is April 1st through March 31st.
